Day 01 Pick up from the airport and PM transfer to Holiday Inn, Mayfair Bed and breakfast meal plan
Day 02 After breakfast, transfer to Wilson airport in time to catch a flight to Samburu at 09:00am. Upon arrival you will be picked from Air Kenya in a safari vehicle to embark on a short game drive. The day is spent tracking the rare, drought resistant animals species which can only be seen north of the equator; these are: the reticulated giraffe, grevy's zebra, the gerenuk or giraffe-gazelle, beisa Oryx and the blue shanked Somali ostrich. The Ewaso Nyiro River traverses this park, it's source being the Aberdare ranges. There are therefore very high chances of spotting crocodile in a natural environment though its water level varies seasonally. You will have lunch and leisure break in the mid afternoon. Rest of meals and overnight at the Samburu Serena lodge.
Day 03 Pre-breakfast game drive from 0630-0930hrs. Breakfast at the Lodge. A short mid morning game viewing drive upto lunch break. Lunch followed by an afternoon siesta until 1600hrs. Proceed for an afternoon game drive until app 1830hrs. Dinner and overnight at the Serena Lodge.
Day 04 Same as 03rd.
Day 05 After morning breakfast, leave for Nakuru to arrive for lunch at Lake Nakuru Lodge. PM Game viewing drive in Lake Nakuru park which has prolific bird life including flamingos, white pelicans and the marabou stork among others. Waterbuck and Cape buffalo can be seen near the shoreline. Rothschild's' giraffe and the white rhino are additional attractions among other species of plains game and cats like lion. With luck you may spot leopard, which is rather elusive National Park until evening. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 06 Depart after breakfast for Masai Mara viewing the Great Rift Valley en-route. Drive via Mau Narok town, famous Masai town to arrive Masai Mara in time for lunch at the Sarova Camp. Afternoon game drive in the Masai Mara is famous for it's black maned lions, elephants and buffalo that make three out of the 'big five' though luck is essential for spotting the other two namely leopard and rhino which are rather shy and elusive. The park's animal concentration and abundance is second to none. We will cater for a picnic lunch at the hippo pool where with luck you may spot crocodiles basking on the rocks. Numerous plains game including antelopes, wildebeest, zebra, Masai giraffe can be seen as well as scavengers like hyena and vulture. Dinner and overnight at the Camp.
Day 07 Pre-breakfast game viewing drive in the Park in search of the Big 5. Breakfast at the Lodge and leisure. Lunch and an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at the Camp.
Day 08 Pre-breakfast game viewing drive. Have breakfast then carry your packed lunches to be served at the Hippo pool. The whole of this day shall be spent in the bush. Dinner and overnight at the Masai Mara Sarova Camp.
Day 09 Same as day 11. All meals and overnight back at the Camp.
Day 10 After a morning pre-breakfast game drive, drive to Lake Naivasha to arrive for lunch at the Country Club. Afternoon is spent at leisure. Dinner and overnight at the club.
Day 11 After morning breakfast, visit Crescent Island then proceed to Nairobi to arrive for lunch at the Carnivore. Proceed to Amboseli to arrive late in the evening for dinner and overnight at the Amboseli Serena/Oltukai Lodge
Day 12 Pre-breakfast game viewing proceed for another game drive where plains game namely zebra, wildebeest, giraffe and various antelopes can be seen. You will have a lunch and leisure break at the lodge then end with an evening game drive, looking out for the peak of Kilimanjaro which may be seen during clear weather from the observation hill. Large herds of elephants and hippo can be seen bathing in the swamp grounds whose waters source is Mt. Kilimanjaro. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 13 Am Game drive then depart after breakfast for Nairobi with your packed lunch. Arrive in the afternoon for a brief stay at the Holiday Inn. Departure transfer to Jkia
